A dusty and cloudy start to the week is forecast for the UAE, with the probability of light rain over the islands and some west coast and eastern areas on Monday.
Temperatures are expected to range between 27°C and 38°C in Abu Dhabi and between 28°C and 37°C in Dubai.
It will be cooler than it was on Sunday, where temperatures soared to as high as 42°C, the National Centre for Meteorology reported.
Humidity will go up to 80% by the coast and on the islands, and as low as 10% inland and in the mountains, the weather bureau said.
Moderate to strong winds are expected on Monday, becoming strong at times over the sea by night.
Conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf, becoming rough to very rough by night, and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
The duststorms are expected to continue through the week, reducing visibility. More
