UAE travellers can take advantage of cheaper long-stay car parking near Dubai Airport.
Parking at Dubai International Airport’s Terminals 1 and 2 costs AED100 per day, while parking at Terminal 3 is AED240, according to the airport’s website.
But hotels in the area are charging as little as AED250 for two weeks, according to a Gulf News report.
The nearby Le Meridien Dubai Hotel charges AED250 for two weeks, AED350 for three weeks, and AED450 for four weeks, according to Deveekaa Nijhawan, complex public relations and communications manager.
“Many people during the summer holidays fly out of Dubai and look for long-term parking that they can afford while they’re away,” said Nijhawan. “We thought of offering this service where residents can leave their car in a secure VIP parking as they enjoy their holiday.” The VIP parking service is available for the summer holidays until September 30.
